Mike Hamouda

Staff Coach

Mike is from Liverpool, England and grew up playing in Liverpool FC’s Academy from the ages of 9-14. After playing for a series of professional and semi professional clubs, along with playing in college in England, Mike moved to the US in the summer of 2008 to begin coaching and continue his playing career. Mike settled in Perrysburg in 2009 playing for Owens CC finishing as the all time assist leader, captain and Team MVP during the 2 years that he spent there. Mike joined GTFC in 2013 earning his USSF D and NSCAA National diploma and coaching a host of teams during his initial 4 year stint at the club. After moving to Pacesetter in 2017 to become the Girls Youth director, Mike was promoted to the position of High School girls director coaching u15-u18 girls and overseeing a program of 8 teams. In 2021 Mike led his 2006 team to an Ohio state cup, which resulted in qualifying for and winning the National championship in Denver, Colorado with a 10-0-0 record across both tournaments. Mike holds a bachelors degree in physical education and currently lives in Perrysburg with his wife and 3 Kids."
