COVID Information

At GTFC the safety of our players is one of our highest priorities.  With that goal in mind, GTFC has created COVID protocols for both on and off the field.  The first, and most important, thing we want to stress is if your player is not feeling well and/or experiencing any of the following symptoms, they should stay home:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

After reviewing information and mandates from the State of Ohio, our state soccer associations, and the leagues in which we play, GTFC staff has compiled two documents to communicate this information to you.

1. GTFC Impact Phase III Competition Protocols – this document spells out the expectations we have of our coaches, players and spectators at any GTFC event (training, league game, or tournament) and measures GTFC staff will take to ensure we are meeting all mandates and recommendations.

2. GTFC COVID Compliance – this document spells out the steps that will be taken should we experience any positive, presumed positive and/or exposure COVID cases.  One important thing to note:  As a parent, your first point of contact should there be a positive, presumed positive and/or exposure COVID case with your player and/or within your family is to contact your Head Coach.  Your Head Coach will then notify the GTFC COVID Compliance Officer (Elaine Stead - to begin the necessary reporting and notification steps.
