Ryan Otten is from Brookfield, Wisconsin. He played youth and club soccer before graduating from Brookfield High School.  He attended & graduated Calvin College with Bachelor’s Degrees in Physical and Health Education.  After graduating college, he served as the varsity head coach of Sussex Hamilton HS and New Berlin West High School (leading them to their first conference championship in 25 years).  He continued to progress as a coach, and became an assistant at Cardinal Stritch University for both the men's & women's program (where the men won back to back conference titles). Ryan then made the jump into club full-time, as a director of coaching at Ohio Extreme SC for both boys and girls. He quickly advanced to be the Girls Director of Coaching at Sporting Springfield (MLS Sporting KC affiliate), where they produced a first girls state championship for the club and first non-Kansas City or non-St. Louis club to do so. Finally, he moved back to his roots turning the Youth Program around as the Youth Director at FC Wisconsin (top 100 club in US in 2021). He has over 30 years of playing and coaching experience.
