Background:

Tyler Shook is a home grown product who graduated from Maumee High School in 2000. Tyler went on to play college soccer at Ashland University where he was a 3 year starter. He also played with the Toledo Slayers of the PDL (Professional Development League) before he started his coaching career. Since graduating college Tyler has been coaching club soccer for various clubs including Maumee Express. He has also been a high school coach for Anthony Wayne High School and Hillsboro High School in Oregon. Most recently he has been working with Aloha United SC in Aloha, Oregon where he was the Director of Training in charge of the development of 9 coaches and over 110 female players within their youth system. At GTFC Tyler will be directly responsible for the development of players in the U11 and U12 age range.
