Background:

Mark is the head coach of the Ohio Northern Women's program and has been since the spring of 2004. Mark was hired as the Polar Bear's fourth head coach after he finished his playing career at Wilmington. Mark has led the Polar Bears to the OAC tournament in 7 of his 8 years, was named OAC coach of the year in 2007 and had the OAC player of the year in 2007, 2008 and 2010. In addition to his coaching duties at ONU, Batman is the head coach of the Dayton Dutch Lions which is a USL W-League team this Spring.

Mark will spend a day or two a week working with the older teams in the club. His specific focus will be teams that are playing in the MRL and he will serve solely as a trainer, not a match day coach. He will bring another critical eye to the process and a tremendous passion to the club that the players love.
